Hibbing High School Recognized at National Conference

HIBBING - Hibbing High School and surrounding groups from the area are being recognized this week at a national conference in Dallas.

Hibbing High School Principal Mike Finco says he is down at the National Association for Secondary School Principals Conference with 23 other schools across the country to show off their unique programs.

For Hibbing, it is their partnership with the local Habitat for Humanity that is being recognized.

"It is a great honor for a school to be selected since only 24 schools each year are invited," Finco said.

Finco added that it was only 18 degrees in Dallas Thursday with some snow and wind as well.
