VIRGINIA - A Virginia man accused of kidnapping and assaulting his estranged wife has pleaded guilty to the crime.
Timothy Caskey, 42, told a federal judge that he kidnapped his estranged wife and took her to Texas and Mexico.
Court documents say Caskey jumped out of a pickup truck, grabbed his wife, shoved her into the vehicle and struck two people who tried to help the woman.
He also admitted to robbing a bank in Ottawa, Kansas on July 15, 2011.
Caskey's wife was found a few weeks later in Mexico, shortly after Caskey was arrested.
He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
