Mesabi East Put on Lockdown After Live Rifle Round was Discovered

AURORA - A school in northern Minnesota was put on lockdown Thursday after a live rifle round was found on school grounds.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office was called to Mesabi East High School around 10 am.
A soft lockdown was activated at the school for students and staff while officers searched the grounds.
The search yielded unrelated contraband however the school was deemed secure and everyone was able to carry on with their day.
