10th Annual Snowball Festival at Lutsen Mountain

LUTSEN, Minn. – Skiers and snowboarders are having a blast at Lutsen Mountain, and it's not just because of the great hills.They are enjoying community fun at the 10th Annual Snowball Festival.It's a four day music fest that ties in skiing and snowboarding with the music community."The ski community is often a hip group of folks. They respond well to music and it really brings in that mid-20 to mid-30 something set, active with skiing and snowboarding and then have fun with music," said Jim Vick, marketing director at Lutsen Mountain."Very happy people that are excited to see each other. Everyone just wants to be positive, to be around positive people. It's pretty amazing," said Joe Scarpellino, a performer at the festival.The festival runs through Saturday.
