SUPERIOR, Wis. - Two new Superior police officers were sworn in, in the spirit of Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.Friends and family gathered to see the department welcome Jesse Soufflet
and Tyler Rude to the force Friday.The officers are from Duluth, graduated from the Fond du Lac law enforcement program and have a passion to make positive changes in the Northland."Excited, just a lot of emotions going through my head right now,” said Soufflet. “Just trying to take it in a little bit at a time.""It's a dream come true,” said Rude. “I know a lot of people want to be in this position and it takes a lot to get here so I'm very honored."
The officers will start 14 weeks of training next week.
