DULUTH, Minn. - If you've been craving Chinese food from Beijing in Duluth, you're in luck because it is set to reopen in a few months.
After 20 years on East Superior St., Beijing closed about a year and a half ago to make way for CVS Pharmacy.
The owners never planned on reopening, but when Pizza Hut on London Road shut down, they saw it as the perfect opportunity to reopen."This is the perfect place. It has a parking lot,” said owner of Beijing, Cindy Lee. “The old one didn't have any parking space to come and go and it's really close to the old one, too, not that far away."
Lee said she’s felt a little bored without the restaurant and is excited to see her loyal customers again.
When Pizza Hut left, they took the entire kitchen, so a new one must be put in before they open.
The restaurant is set to reopen in March.
