CLOQUET, Minn. – Cloquet's newly elected mayor ran his first city council meeting after getting sworn in Tuesday. Mayor David Hallback is a retired Cloquet police officer who served on the force for 27 years.He said he is excited and looking forward to working with city councilors and administrators to do what's best for Cloquet."I'm a problem solver. Always have been. I think I work well with people and I think that will aid me a lot in my new role," said Mayor Hallback.Hallback is taking over former Mayor Bruce Ahlgren's seat which he held for 16 years.
