DULUTH, Minn. - The Duluth City Council voted to move forward with a resolution to change Minnesota seed sharing laws Monday.
Agriculture officials recently discovered the Duluth Public Library's seed sharing program was on the wrong side of the law, and if they didn’t change they would be fined and shut down.
The vote shows the council supports keeping the program and their commitment to make it easier for communities to share seeds.
