Duluth Harbor Accident Victim Returns Home

DULUTH - A teacher from Superior who almost froze to death in the Duluth harbor has been released from the hospital.

Matt Amerson, 25, was found unconscious Nov. 29 in his mostly submerged vehicle off Garfield Avenue.

But Monday, after a medically induced coma and days in the hospital, Amerson was back home and on his way to a full recovery.
