Winter Skating Parties Kick Off

DULUTH - People of all ages along with the UMD bulldogs skated on a nice sheet of ice inside the Amsoil Arena. The Duluth Parks and Recreation Division puts on the event four times a season. It’s all to give locals the chance to break in their skates and have some winter fun. "It's also giving kids a reason to get together with their friends and get some exercise and continue to learn how to enjoy the outdoors," Duluth Parks and Recreation Specialist Pamela Page said. Additional skating events are: December 28, 3-5 pm in the DECC ice arena,  January 25, 2015, 3-5 pm in the DECC ice arena and March 8, 2015, 3-5 pm in the AMSOIL Arena.
