Minneapolis, MN-The debate over the safety of E-Cigarettes is coming to an end in Minneapolis after the City Council decides to ban them from public indoor spaces.
The debate over e-cig's safety goes on because there have been no long-term studies on the relatively new product.
Because of the uncertainty and concerns that underage people are vaping, the Minneapolis City Council unanimously adopted a ban on e-cigs any play where cigarettes are banned like bars, restaurants and stores.
A move applauded by many advocacy organizations.
Right now, Minneapolis only allows customers to sample products in tobacco shops.
The city council admitted it was a mistake to not allow vaping samples at e-cig stores and plans to change the ordinance.
