FOSSTON, Minn. - Federal wildlife officials are asking for the public's help in finding whoever illegally killed a wild moose in northwestern Minnesota.
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service says wildlife officers discovered a moose that had been shot and left to waste during the 2014 firearms deer season.
The moose was killed a few miles south of Fosston.
Wildlife officials note that Minnesota's moose population is declining.
