DULUTH, Minn. - Duluth musicians donated their talents for a free concert to benefit CHUM and the Steve O’Neil Apartments Thursday. Charlie Par and students from the Music Resource Center shared their music to raise awareness about homelessness in Duluth. All the money raised will go to help furnish the O’Neil Apartments which are expected to open in January. "There is a need in Duluth,” explained Music Resource Center program manager and UMD graduate student, Cashmere Hagbourne. “That need is to help make sure that families and children are receiving the adequate things that they need as far as housing." If you missed the event, but would like to help with the O’Neil apartments, click here.
