SUPERIOR, Wis. - If you drive through Superior you'll notice some new traffic signals. Flashing yellow arrows have been installed at different intersections throughout town. Superior Police say it's a safer way to help with traffic flow. When you approach the light you should yield to pedestrians and oncoming traffic before making a left hand turn."Like anything new, there's a learning curve to go along with it and we're just looking to educate the public of the use of the flashing yellow light, the turn signal," said Chief Deputy Jerry Moe, with the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.A study done by the Federal Highway Administration found drivers had fewer crashes with the flashing yellow arrow.
