DULUTH, Minn. - Some families in need will be able to have a Thanksgiving dinner thanks to some generous donations.A truckload of Thanksgiving turkeys arrived at the CHUM Food Shelf early Wednesday morning. One hundred whole turkeys will be available to families just in time for the holiday.Leadership Duluth has made this turkey donation for several years in a row.The turkeys can be picked up with all of the holiday fixings when clients come for their normal five day food supply."I like to say that CHUM isn't just me and my coworkers and volunteers. CHUM is all of us in the community because it really takes the whole community to keep the CHUM's doors open," said CHUM Food Shelf coordinator Meg Kearns.Availability is limited and CHUM says it will give priority to regular clients and those with larger families.
