Hayward Gets Ready For 'A Lure of Lights'

HAYWARD - Buildings and sidewalks in Hayward's downtown will soon glow for the 5th Annual "A Lure of Lights." Volunteers started putting up 300,000 LED lights at the end of August to celebrate the holiday season and bring more visitors into town."Our website is pulling in a lot of hits for people wanting to make this a destination and see the lights,” A Lure of Lights Coordinator Jan Beatty said. “That was one of our main accomplishments and we're feeling like we're getting there with it."
