Duluth City Plows Battle Icy Roads

DULUTH - Duluth city plow drivers have been working hard to keep the streets as safe as possible.Nearly 20 trucks are hitting the main streets first and will then tackle the side streets when the storm is over."The conditions are not going to get better; they're going to deteriorate later tonight. We hope to have things better by drive-time tomorrow, but who knows. We'll have to see what the weather does," said Kelly Fleissner, with the City of Duluth.Fleissner says many of the roads turned to solid sheets of ice within minutes Monday morning.
