1st Annual Fox Trot 5K

SUPERIOR- Many kids and adults braved the cold Saturday morning as they participated in the 1st Annual Fox Trot 5k at the NBC Spartan Sports Complex in Superior.
While the race was all about having fun, all proceeds are helping 2 non–profit organizations.
With Veterans Day right around the corner, supporting our local veterans is of the uttmost importance.
Race Director, Curt Tupy said “These brave men and women are laying it out on the line for us. And, this is the smallest token we can do is try to get together and raise money for these organizations that are helping these men and women take care of us.”
Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans and the Douglas County Wisconsin Soldier and Sailor Relief Fund will benefit from the proceeds.
Sponsors hope to make this an annual event.
