Driver Killed in Motor Vehicle Accident

SUPERIOR - At 5:34 PM, the Superior Police Department responded to a report of a single car accident at US Highway 53 and Clough Ave. A vehicle that had been E. bound on US 53 had reportedly struck the median and left the roadway and overturned multiple times.

The driver, and sole occupant of the vehicle, was ejected from the vehicle.

The driver, a 36-year-old male was transported to a Duluth Hospital by Gold Cross Ambulance Service.

The victim succumbed to his injuries at the Duluth Hospital.

This incident remains under investigation.
