DULUTH - Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton made a stop in Duluth to encourage Northlanders to vote. The governor and other political leaders along with locals packed UMD’S Kirby Center for a Get out and Vote event.
Politicians say right now it's about going beyond the ads.
"Minnesota having one of the highest voter turnouts in the century if not the highest for 8 elections in, it now means that people just come out and vote,” U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar said. “This is your opportunity."
Political leaders also talked about how important the youth vote is.
