Vandals Attack Pak's Green Corner

DULUTH - The owner of Pak's Green Corner on Grand Avenue had quite the surprise when she got to work Friday morning. Someone vandalized the outside of the place, smashing the fire pit, throwing around the patio furniture, and knocked over the sign notorious for advertising the daily special. The owner says the area around her restaurant is well patrolled, and before this, she's never had a problem."It's just sad because when I got here and people warned me about West Duluth, but I just said no it's not true everybody is so nice, and I never have a problem," said owner Pak Williams. Williams posted pictures of the damage on the Pak’s Green Corner Facebook page. Community members came to the restaurant to donate money and offer their services. She estimates about $1,000 in damage.
