New AstroTurf Field Complete At Wade

DULUTH - Let it pour rain and snow hard – at least over Wade Stadium – because for the first time in a long time the field can handle it.On Wednesday, city officials showed off the new Wade Stadium with AstroTurf."It's absolutely stunning. It's going to be great. The fans are going to be able to walk out here and sit in their seats and go, wow, this looks super," said Michael Rosenzweig, owner of the Duluth Huskies Baseball Club.The AstroTurf is part of a $4.6 million facelift for the aging stadium.
