New Entertainment Venue Takes Over Old Twins Bar

DULUTH - A new entertainment venue geared around pool is now open in the old Twins Bar, which was shut down by the Duluth Police Department after too many police calls.The new business is called The Break Room Duluth.Owner Dan Witzman says the atmosphere is comparable to an old, classic pool hall with a modern twist."We've really strived to make this a safe, enjoyable place for any of the patrons who want to come in, play pool, play snooker, listen to music, look at the showcase of art," Witzman said.There's also room for artists to play jazz and blues music.The big grand opening is this Saturday from 11 a.m. until 1 a.m.The Break Room is located on the 500 block of East Fourth Street. For more information, check out The Break Room on Facebook.
