DULUTH - Duluth students came together to reduce bullying on their campuses Wednesday.
For national Unity Day, Duluth Edison Charter School students wore orange shirts and ribbons while participating in anti–bullying activities teaching them responsibility, respect and compassion for others.
"So that we can show and teach students how to do these different skills so that they are ready when they go out into the real world and are able to interact with other people as well,” North Star Academy teacher Jen Blix said.
Students also took anti-bullying pledges and made murals and other projects that promote safety and support.
