CLOQUET- It's Sustainability Awareness Week at the Fond Du Lac Tribal and Community College. The week is aimed at teaching students and the community about how
to lead an environmentally conscious lifestyle.
One of the big topics to be discussed is climate change.
Courtney Kowalczak, director of the college's Environmental Institute said, “We have crazy things
happening with weather and flooding and things like that, so how do we adjust?
And how do we use our resources better in order to live a sustainable lifestyle -- and that's a lot of what we are doing.”
All the events this week are free and open to the public.
