Hunters Gear Up for Pheasant Hunt Season Opener

DULUTH - Pheasant hunters across Minnesota are gearing up for this weekend's opener.Leaders with Pheasants Forever said reports from the Department of Natural Resources on whether the hunt will be good this year are iffy.But Phil Storsteen, chapter president of St. Louis-Carlton County Pheasants Forever, said this weekend is about more than just the hunt."It's a family sport. You got the uncles and the cousins and the aunts, nieces and nephews and you're walking the fields, hoping some birds get up.
