DULUTH - Duluth is in the running for a multi-million dollar grant.The Knight Foundation works to engage communities to find what makes cities successful.Friday morning, the foundation announced a grant challenge between Duluth and 25 other cities to raise $15 million in five years.Anyone can contribute ideas to better the town and the winner gets a share of the money for their city."We're particularly interested in ideas that are focused around attracting and retaining talent, really keeping the best people and attracting the best people to town," said Polly Talen, with The Knight Foundation.The challenge runs through Nov. 14.Click here to apply.
