Sheriff Seeking Help Locating Man

PRESS RELEASE- The St Louis County Sheriff's Office is asking for assistance from the public in locating a Daniel George Nelson, 50 yrs of age, from rural Gilbert.Nelson has been living in an adult foster care facility near Gilbert and early this evening walked away from his home.

Nelson was seen walking on a nearby road and may be headed to Gilbert or Hoyt Lakes.

Nelson may also hide in the woods.

Nelson has a chest length beard and shoulder length hair and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a T-shirt.

Nelson is not considered dangerous.

Weather in the area is cool and rainy, further heightening concerns for his welfare. The St Louis County Sheriff's Volunteer Rescue Squad is assisting officers in the search for Nelson.
