DULUTH - Duluth dog owners are raising money to fund new dog parks in the city, and they still need your help.
Currently, they have $1,000 and need $6,000 to cover costs for fencing and signage.
They're selling glass paw prints, dog bed tables, and t-shirts to help the cause.
"There's only one place in Duluth where dogs can publicly be off leash and that is at Keene Creek Dog Park,” said dog park advocate Denette Lynch. “We're just trying to add a couple more."
Plans for a new dog park at Observation Park have been approved by city council, but final designs are still in the works.
