City Of Ashland: Ore Dock Will Stay Open

ASHLAND - Ashland city officials have decided to leave the Ore Dock open for public use.

They were hoping to wait a few weeks to decide set hours of the dock.

But thanks to the high amount of positive response, the Ore Dock gates will remain unlocked.

The city is asking that no motorized vehicles go on the dock.

Also, there will be no swimming or diving off the dock.

The city council is working to develop dock policies, but for now, they're opening it up to give community members what they asked for.
