First Northland Kwik Trip Opens In Superior

SUPERIOR - The first Kwik Trip store in the Northland opened up on Tower Avenue Thursday.The new convenience store offers locals and travelers gas, high-end coffee, hot food and fresh meats at affordable prices.

People lined up outside the store at 5 o'clock in the morning Thursday to wait for the doors to open.

"It has been exciting, we have had so many people come in and say quote on quote it's about time you come to the Twin Ports,” Kwik Trip District Leader Layne Froehlich said. “So we have a lot of Kwik Trip customers that shop our stores in the other three states and its just really exciting to hear people say welcome and we've been waiting for it for so long."

The next Kwik Trip is scheduled to open in the coming weeks on U.S. 53.
