SUPERIOR - A local church kept the fellowship going after service with a community picnic. Locals gathered at Darrow Road Wesleyan Church for hours of fun, games for kids and adults and of course tons of food.
"It's the body of Christ coming together and celebrating and fellowshipping with each other, that's very much a part of the relationship with the church itself,” Darrow Road Wesleyan Church Senior Pastor Mark Holmes said. “But also its important because it's a way of speaking to the community, interacting with the community, helping them to know we're here for them."
The picnic is a decades old tradition happening at every August.
