DULUTH - Friday marked the opening day of The Tribute Fest at Bayfront Park.
The goal is to raise money for homeless veterans through rock and roll.
Organizers say they expect more than 2,000 people to set up chairs and listen to only the best tribute bands.
"You can come down and see KISS Army. You can come down and see Lynyrd Skynyrd,” said The Tribute Fest organizer, Lou Campbell. “You can come down and see Paranoid or Pink Floyd. Absolutely the best bands you'll see."
Veterans get into the two day event for free.
Tickets are available at the door.
