Duluth Art Fair Kicks Off

DULUTH - A local event showcased different types of creativity from all over the country. More than 150 artists sold jewelry, paintings, sculptures and more at the 5th Annual Art in Bayfront Park Art Fair.
This year proceeds from the event will go Duluth schools art departments.
"Kids are 4 times more likely to have higher academic achievement if they have art classes, it's really important thing for kids,” said DeBora Bernick with Art in Bayfront Park. “Employers like to have the creativity too.” “Most employers are looking for creativity so it will help them out in the job market as well."
The second day of the event will run from 10 a.m.-5 p.m..
