Bayfield Nominated for Best Specialty Festival

BAYFIELD - Bayfield has been selected as one of the 20 best specialty food festivals in the United States.
The annual Apple Fest has been chosen by U.S.A. Today readers for its agricultural celebration of the autumn harvest.
Community leaders say the events surrounding it set Bayfield Apple Fest apart from other festivals.
"So far we're doing pretty good... right now we are at number 4 we had been at number 1 the first couple of days. So I'd like to see us get back to first place, but I feel pretty confident we'll get into the top ten," said Kelly Linehan, the Bayfield Chamber's marketing manager.
