HIBBING - One of two Northlanders accused of stealing thousands of trees from county managed forest land has pleaded guilty.
Twenty–four year old Tara Herrick from Meadowlands entered the plea to a count of trespassing on public lands and damages.
Authorities say she and 22 year old Steven Morterud stole nearly 2,000 tree tops from St. Louis County land near Toivola to sell them as Christmas trees.
