DULUTH - Democratic state auditor candidate Matt Entenza made a stop in Duluth before Tuesday's primary election.
He's a prosecutor specializing in financial crime.
He says he's feeling confident because he's spent a lot of time in Northeastern Minnesota, and is ready to stand up for this part of the state.
"I think the office is more than balancing the books,” Entenza said. “It really is about how are we going to defend seniors protect pensions. I've got school board members telling me in Northeastern Minnesota we need someone who's going to be fighting for our kids and fighting for Northeastern Minnesota schools."
Entenza is on the ballot with current auditor Rebecca Otto.
