Wisconsin State Parks Go Mobile With New App

SUPERIOR - Wisconsin state parks are going mobile.
A new app gives users access to guides for state parks, forests and trails.
The app also offers descriptions of each park, lists of available amenities, maps and directions.
It also has a GPS to find the closest properties.
"In the technology world that we live in people are looking for apps for their smartphones all the time. So, this is highly informative and it also can be updated regularly by our staff in Madison," said Kevin Feind, superintendent for Pattison State Park and Amnicon Falls State Park.
The app is available for iPhones and andriods under the name "Wisconsin State Parks and Forests" and is free.
