DULUTH - An active member in Duluth’s youth soccer programs is being remembered through a new pavilion.
The building at the Jean Duluth Soccer Complex is named after Bob Pratt who was highly involved in Duluth soccer, and lost his battle with cancer in 2011.
The pavilion was the last project Pratt wanted completed, so the community only saw it fitting to dedicate it in embrace of him.
"It's just a great reminder about what someone can do who has passion and love for their community and he'll never be forgotten," said Pratt’s wife Lisa Pratt.
More than 100 individuals, families, organizations and businesses helped complete the project.
