Woman Charged in Burglary, Second Suspect on the Run

DULUTH - A Cloquet woman has been charged after police say she burglarized a home in Duluth.
Sommer Thompson, 29, is accused of committing the crime on the 400 block of North 15th Avenue East just after midnight Monday.
A witness said they saw Thompson and a Native American man leaving the area on bikes after going into a second home in the 1400 block of East 5th Street.
Officers eventually arrested Thompson, but the man was never found.
Thompson has been charged with 1st degree burglary and 2nd degree burglary.
She has the following convictions in Minnesota:
2013 – Felony Theft
2012 – Misdemeanor Theft (2 separate charges) & Shoplifting
2011 – Misdemeanor Theft
2010 – Felony Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, Tamper with a Motor Vehicle & Misdemeanor Theft
2009 – Felony Receiving Stolen Property and 4 separate charges for Misdemeanor Theft
2008 – Receiving Stolen Property, Fleeing Police, False Name to Police, 4 Misdemeanor Thefts
2007 – Misdemeanor Theft and Hit & Run
