Garage Catches Fire Feet From I-35

DULUTH - Monday evening, fire broke out just feet from I- 35 near the London Road exit.

Crews got the call to a garage fire at 6:18 p.m.

When they arrived on scene, heavy smoke was rolling out the windows and doors.

The building has been vacant for a few years and nobody was inside at the time.

Fire officials estimate the fire caused $55,000 in damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
