Les Miserables Sees Successful Opening Night

DULUTH - About 40 Duluth actors took the stage at the DECC Thursday night to perform the popular musical, Les Miserables.

Les Mis is the first show where Playhouse actors get to perform on the big stage at the DECC.

They said it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform on a stage that big, and be in a play that many of them have grown up with.

"It's something that this community has never been able to do before but we've always had the talent and the actors and the musicians and the dancers to be able to do something like this,” said actor Sarah Diener. “Things came into play and it's been fantastic."
