New Donut Shop Opens in Superior

SUPERIOR - Maple bacon and banana split donuts sold out within hours at a new shop in Superior. A Dozen Excuses Donuts and More opened its doors for the first time and got wiped out.

Chocolate, pineapple, peanut butter and jelly cake and raised donuts flew off the shelves.

"It's fantastic, we have had such a rush of people this morning and enthusiasm,” A Dozen Excuses Donuts and More owner Melissa Hyatt said. “They have been so welcoming and so excited and we're so glad to be here."

The donut shop will also roll out other baked goods, Coney dogs, soups and sandwiches.
