DULUTH- Residents breathe a sigh of relief after hot water is restored to their building.
A hot water heater failed on July 5th leaving residents without water for six days.
For a time residents had no information from management as to why there was no hot water, or what was being done.
Saturday they say life is back to normal; the hot water was restored Friday morning.
Gateway resident, Colleen Sellon said, "well you can live in the 20th century again. You get used to things and when you lose them. you don't know what to do. You panic."
Residents say everything in the building is old and management said due to the age of the equipment, a custom part was needed to correct the situation.
