Spirit Mountain Adds More Recreation

DULUTH - Spirit Mountain is adding a new disc golf course. If you don't know much about the sport, it's kind of like golfing but with a Frisbee.

Starting off, the new course will have 9 holes at the base of the mountain by the Grand Avenue chalet.

It’s all part of Spirit Mountain’s long term goals.

"It's a really good compliment to the other items that we offer people and a great way to utilize more of our offerings," said Briana Johnson with Spirit Mountain.

Spirit Mountain hopes to have the course open within a week.
