Folks Enjoy Live Music and More at Great American Picnic

DULUTH - Fourth of July weekend fun continued Sunday at Fitgers.O

The second Great American Picnic, put on by Midi, was even bigger this year.

There was live music, a tiki bar, games in the courtyard for families and a grill-out.

There was such a big turnout this year, organizers tell us they plan to have even more activities for next year's picnic.

"What better place to meet the family, the family dog like here in Fitgers courtyard. It's a beautiful setting, the lake behind you, the boats coming in and out. It's just gorgeous," said Mari Schmidt, owner of Midi.

The tiki bar at Midi is open all summer.

On Tuesdays from 5-8 p.m. you can bring your canine companion for a "doggie happy hour."
