A New Hotel is Coming Soon to Tower for Harbor Project

TOWER - A big part of the Tower Harbor Project will soon be official.

Cobblestone Hotels is interested in building a 36-unit hotel on the harbor with a pool and 800-square foot banquet room.

This will be the main hotel for guests to stay at on the harbor.

City organizers say this will greatly benefit their economy.

"The increase of people, the increased tax base, the number of people moving around, the number of people shopping, eating," said Linda Keith, City Clerk/Treasurer.

The city tells us it hopes to have the agreement signed by next month and start construction in the Fall of 2015.
