Train Offers View of Marathon in Duluth

DULUTH - Dozens of people will be getting some of the best views of the Grandma's Marathon and they won't have to worry about the weather.
The North Shore Scenic Railroad offers a ride that follows the runners closely all the way down the shore.

These seats may actually be some of the best of any marathon in the country.

"We're the only marathon in this country that has train service whether it be for the runners or whether it be to view it," Ken Buehler from the North Shore Scenic Railroad said. "It's a very unique experience both for the participants and those that come along with them."

Unfortunately, the ride has become so popular that tickets are already sold out this year but there's alway next year.
