Farewell Dinner for Young Russian Professionals

DULUTH - Locals said goodbye to a group of young Russian professionals on Friday evening.
The group of Russians visited Duluth, thanks to the Open World Leadership Center.
The goal of the program was for the Russians to understand and build relationships between the United States and countries of Eurasia.
During their stay, they got involved with social sciences and non-profits about issues like preventing violence against women.
One of the visitors, Konstantin Nakhimov, said, "We are very thankful, very appreciative of all of the help, all of the information, all of the skills, all of the experience the Duluthians so graciously shared with us. I will bring all of this that I learned to Petrozavodsk and put it to the best of use."
The group of five Russian professionals stayed with host families for one week and are heading out of the United States on Saturday.
