DULUTH - The clock to Grandma's Marathon is ticking, and race officials are making sure the roads on the route are in good condition for runners.
Grandma’s staff and the city of Duluth have toured the route from Two Harbors through downtown Duluth to the finish line in Canal Park.
They say even though Duluth had one of the worst winters on record the roads look great for running.
"There's a couple minor little things that we see,” explained Executive Director of Grandma’s Marathon, Jon Carlson. “Other than that the course has come through the winter really well."
The Grandma's Marathon big top tent is set to go up Monday morning.
The starting line and finish line are expected to be painted Friday afternoon.
